Diamonds and Pearls deliver Jewellery, Designer Baskets & Bows gift baskets and Gift Boxes through selected Couriers and will make every effort that your gift is delivered safely and any errors in delivery and damage will be rectified as quickly as possible ensuring that we can deliver an outcome suitable to all parties involved.



Please allow 5 weeks for shipping for all jewellery, gifts and services. This is because all our products are shipped from overseas, local suppliers and interstate sellers.



Can I track my delivery?

When your order is dispatched, you will receive a dispatch notification email with courier tracking information that will allow you to track the progress of the delivery.



Can I pick up my order? 

Unfortunately, no.  



Deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).



Do you offer Express Delivery?

No



Do you have and what are the special delivery instructions?

Yes, we do, the special delivery instructions field on the checkout page is for specific instructions for the courier that are printed on the label (e.g. deliver to the second floor and leave with reception or leave on the front veranda where it’s protected from view). Requests for delivery at a specific time of day will be printed on the label for the courier to see however cannot be guaranteed. Our couriers are unable to call or text recipients prior to delivery, to confirm an address, or upon an unsuccessful delivery.



Authority to leave Packages

This option is available providing there is no jewellery inside and you send us a signed email giving us the authority to leave a basket.  If authority to leave is given and no one is available to receive the delivery, our courier will leave the package in a relatively secure location unattended at the address. Please ensure you can advise us of a safe location and that there are no dogs that can harm the couriers.


If the package cannot be left at the address, our courier will do one of the following:


1. Leave a card advising the recipient that the package has been taken to the nearest post office for pickup or back to the depot.

2. Call the recipient for an alternative delivery address or time – re delivery fees will apply.

3. Some unsuccessful deliveries may come straight back to us for processing - we may not know about the unsuccessful delivery until it arrives back to us, and we therefore encourage our customers to keep an eye on the tracking of the delivery.



In order to ensure that someone will be present during business hours, and to avoid re delivery fees, it is highly recommended to send the package to a business address.



  • Please note that re delivery fees may apply for any deliveries that need to be reattempted.



  • Please note that when authority to leave has been given, Diamonds and Pearls and our couriers cannot accept responsibility or liability on the rare occasion that a consignment is lost or stolen after our couriers have recorded the package as 'successfully delivered'. Once the  package has left the property of Diamonds and Pearls it is out of our control. We have implemented as many safeguards as possible to prevent loss and damage prior to and during transit.



Hotel Deliveries

Most hotels have specific guidelines regarding delivery of gifts and services to their guests, please contact the specific hotel in advance to find out how their deliveries are received then notify us via email.



Please provide as much detail as possible about the recipient – room number, full name and street address of hotel/resort and contact number in case of an emergency – and ensure that the name on the delivery address matches the name under which the guest is registered at the hotel.



Most importantly please ensure the customer is still at the hotel or booking into the hotel prior to placing your order and that they will be still there on the day of the delivery. It can be quite expensive and time consuming for both parties. You will be charged a fee to redirect to the correct address and any parking charges that may apply.



Please advise us where the courier can park. Most hotel city parking can be quite busy and sometimes difficult.



Hospital Deliveries

Most hospitals have specific guidelines regarding delivery of gifts to patients, please contact the specific hospital in advance to find out how their deliveries are received then notify us via email.

Please provide as much detail as possible about the recipient – bed/room number, ward name/number, full name and street address of hospital – and ensure that the name on the delivery address matches the name under which the patient is registered at the hospital.



Most importantly please ensure the patient is still in hospital prior to placing your order and the

delivery day. It can be quite expensive and time consuming for both parties. You will be charged a fee to redirect to the correct address and any parking charges that may apply.
